How much does wedding hair and makeup cost in San Francisco for 2026?
AN Artistry offers two separate pricing menus, depending on your booking:
Group Wedding Hair & Makeup Pricing (6+ Service Minimum)
Group wedding services start at $150 per hair or makeup service, with a 6+ service minimum. This menu is for brides and their bridal parties, family, or entourage at group weddings near San Francisco, the East Bay, and Napa Valley. The minimum is 6+ services, not six people. One person receiving both hair and makeup counts as two services. Additional group wedding fees include:

Travel: $50 per hour of round-trip travel.

No-trial fee: $50 if a bridal preview session is not booked.

Early morning start: $50 for appointments beginning before 8 a.m.
Solo Luxury Event Hair & Makeup Pricing
Individual packages start at $750 for both hair and makeup. This separate menu covers City Hall brides, engagement photoshoots, pregnancy announcements, luxury birthdays, red carpet appearances, galas, and other special occasions.
Solo bookings are not subject to the group wedding 6+ service minimum.

What if I’m thinking of a small wedding, or an elopement?
Yes! AN Artistry provides on-location bridal hair and makeup for San Francisco City Hall weddings, elopements, and intimate ceremonies. If you’re booking hair and makeup for yourself, our individual luxury packages offer a separate option without the six-service group wedding minimum. Your artist will create a look that photographs beautifully and lasts throughout your celebration.

How do you ensure my makeup lasts through San Francisco's fog and humidity, or any other weather condition?
San Francisco’s coastal climate is part of its charm, including the famous “Karl the Fog.” Our artists are experienced working in foggy, windy, and humid conditions and use professional, water-resistant makeup and hairstyling products designed for long wear, no matter what the forecast reads.

Our team regularly provides hair and makeup services for bridesmaids, mothers of the bride and groom, flower girls, and family members. We are fully equipped to manage multiple services at once to ensure a smooth, stress-free wedding morning, preventing unnecessary time delays.
Depending on the number of services booked, and your wedding day timeline, we will assign as many professional artists as needed to properly staff your wedding. This team-based approach allows us to efficiently serve larger bridal parties while maintaining the elevated quality and attention to detail A.N. Artistry is known for.
My destination wedding isn’t in San Francisco, what is your travel policy for North Bay, East Bay, or Napa and Sonoma Counties?
Yes! AN Artistry’s mobile makeup artists and hairstylists love to travel and bring the glam to you. We provide on-site wedding services throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, including the North Bay, East Bay, South Bay, Napa Valley, Sonoma, and destinations beyond the Bay Area.
Travel is charged at $50 per hour, per artist, based on round-trip travel time from San Francisco. This fee helps cover gas, mileage, tolls, and parking.
Your final travel fee and overall quote are confirmed after your artist reviews your wedding timeline and the address where services will take place. Request your personalized quote to receive pricing for your location and booking.
How can I help prepare my hair and skin for a San Francisco wedding?
To ensure the best results for your wedding hair and makeup, we recommend preparing your skin and hair starting the week leading up to your wedding.
Keep your skin gently exfoliated and well moisturized to create a smooth, hydrated base for makeup. Avoid trying new skincare treatments, routines, or products within this week.
On the morning of your wedding, please arrive with clean, dry hair, and a clean, freshly exfoliated, and moisturized, face free of makeup. This allows our artists to achieve long-lasting results and ensures your bridal hair and makeup photograph beautifully throughout the day.
I’m not sure how I want my bridal look to be, do you offer any kind of preview, or trial?
Yes! A.N. Artistry offers private 1-on-1 bridal hair and makeup preview sessions for booked brides at our San Francisco salon location. We recommend scheduling your trial four to eight weeks before your wedding. Before booking your trial, browse our Makeup Lookbook and Hairstyle Lookbook and select your preferred makeup look and hairstyle.
Each trial session covers one chosen makeup look and one chosen hairstyle. It is a run-through of your selected look ahead of your wedding day, allowing your artists to refine the details and confirm your wedding day beauty plan.
If you would like to try multiple makeup looks or hairstyles, you’ll need to book additional trial sessions. Please let us know in advance so we can arrange the appropriate appointments.
