Frequently Asked Questions

When should I book?

We recommend you book 6-12 months before your wedding date to ensure availability. A trial session is also recommended to see how our work suits your preferences.

How far in advance should I schedule a trial?

Trials are usually scheduled 2-3 months before the wedding to finalize your desired look and make any necessary adjustments.

What is the booking process?

First, you'll contact us to confirm our availability. Then, we'll schedule a consultation to discuss your preferences and look. From there, you'll need to secure your wedding date with a $300 deposit. After we receive your deposit, we'll schedule a trial appointment to finalize the desired look at our San Francisco location. Finally, you'll enjoy our services on your wedding day. Clear communication, a signed contract, and advance booking are crucial to ensuring a smooth and satisfying experience.

Should I arrive with clean hair and skin on the wedding day?

Yes! It's recommended to arrive with clean, dry hair and a makeup-free face to ensure the makeup and hair styling last throughout the day.

What should I do if I have sensitive skin or allergies?

Please inform us about any allergies or skin sensitivities during your trial run. We can use suitable products and techniques.

How long does bridal makeup and hair typically take on the wedding day?

Makeup and hair styling can take anywhere from 30 mins to 1 hr hour per service, per person, depending on the complexity of the chosen looks and the number of people being serviced.

Do I need to provide any specific products or tools for the makeup artist and hair stylist?

We bring our own products and tools. However, you can communicate if you have specific preferences or products you'd like us to use.

Should I wear my hair up or down for my wedding?

The choice between an updo or leaving your hair down depends on your personal style, dress neckline, and comfort. Discuss options with us to find a look that complements your overall bridal aesthetic.

What should I do about touch-ups on the wedding day?

We provide you with complimentary 15-minute touch-ups. You can also book touch-up services by the hour.

Do I need to pay for travel and accommodation?

Yes, the travel fee is $1 per mile, round-trip from San Francisco, per artist. We also charge any parking and/or bridge toll fees per artist.

How can I make sure my bridal party's makeup and hair are coordinated?

Communicate with us about the desired looks for your bridal party, and consider scheduling a trial run for them as well to ensure everyone is on the same page.

What should I do if I change my mind about the makeup or hair look after the trial?

Open communication is key. Discuss any changes or adjustments you'd like with us during the trial or in the days leading up to the wedding.
